The Board of Trustees of the Tacoma Public Library

The Tacoma Public Library is governed by a five member Board of Trustees appointed by the city's Mayor, and confirmed by a vote of the Tacoma City Council. Members are appointed for a five year term-of-office.

The members of the Library's Board of Trustees are:

Meetings of the Library's Board of Trustees are held on the third Wednesday of each month, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at one of our branch libraries (see schedule below). All meetings of the Board of Trustees are open to the public, and time is set aside at each meeting for public comment.

Agendas and minutes are posted as they become available and are downloadable Adobe PDF files. Minutes from a meeting are approved at the following regular Board meeting and will not be available until after that date.
